Labour Relations

All employee relations issues are dealt with by the risk, governance and labour relations business unit within our Human Capital Management division, which is headed up by the group Chief Operating Officer, an executive director of Momentum Metropolitan Holdings Limited.

Specific reference to our grievance and disciplinary policies is made in employees’ contracts of employment and during the induction process of new employees. Following this, employees can access the group’s disciplinary and grievance policies at any time on the intranet. Communication of all relations matters occurs via the intranet, internal newsletters and magazines. Grievances and disciplinary action taken can be referred to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) for adjudication and the Labour Court.
